hanuman shrunk his size even more and become a very small monkey,and walked toward the city Gates .hanuman see a wonderful city. he noted how well it was protected by thick walls.he searched all over ravana's palaces and the many buildings in lanka, but there was no sigh of sita.then he remembered what sampaati said... that sita was held captive in a beautiful garden, so he decided to search in all the park still he came to the asoka vana.

the moment hanuman entered the asoka vana, he felt a soothing sensation flowing through his entire body.''this must be the place where sita is!let me climb up this tree to look all around.'' he decided and climbed up an asoka tree.hanuman felt a thrill of pleasure,he was sure that at last he had found sita.she had thrown her jewels down when ravanahad carried her over the rishyamooka hill, he remembered. ugly rakshasis guarded the beautiful women, hanaman was filled with great pity but made his mind to see what happened before he contacted her.

as daylight dawned, there was the sound of royal fanfare which announced the arrival of king of lanka, ravana. hanuman concealed himself more effectively among the leaves in case he was spotted and watched ravana walk up to sita.
