Rama lakshmana arrives mithila.viswamitra teach how to uase the other weapons effectviely bouth rama lakshmana.and train them.the three of them continued the journey to sage viswamitras' asharama.they were all greeted by his many disciples who were ready to participate in the ''yaaga'', and were happy that rama would be there to helpthem against the rakshasas. the ''yaaga'' began.mareecha and subahu threw bits of flesh and blood in to the sacrificalfire.to stop the ''yaaga''rama shot a divine wepon he had learnt fromviswamitra.it did not kill them; but the face of the weapon hurled mareecha hundereds of milesaway in to the sea. subahu was killed by flaming weapon flung at him by rama.viswamitra and his disciples were overjoyed that tey conclude the ''yaaga'' in peace. '' all of us will be going to mithila in the kingdom of videha,ruled by the wise KING JANAKA.he is performing a great sacrifice and we wish to be preasent.besides, he has a great bow of siva, in his palace .accompany us and you will see the bow !''viswamitra said.rama and lakshmana agreed at once to go with viswamitra and his disciples to mithila.
