SUGRIVA'S SUDDEN DOUBT.

SUGRIVA'S SUDDEN DOUBT.
rama declared,'' o prince sugriva, hanuman has told us your sad story.. i hereby vow that i will fight with vali so that you regain kishkinda!'' ''and i vow that i will help you to search for you kidnapped wife.sita, i have just remembered! hanuman, do you recall the time when we saw a rakshasa flying in the air with a crying woman? she threw a bundle of her jewels, which we have kept safely. please rama!can you see and identify them?''sugriva exclaimed.
rama and lakshmana both are look at the jewels they said that it was sita's,they wept.on seeing rama's intense emotion, sugriva and other vaanaras became worried in case rama forgot his promise to help sugriva. so sugriva decided to remind rama in a round about way.'' lord rama! it is very sad for you think how i have managed to keep my courage up despite being exiled like you!''sugriva said.rama felt encouraged on hearing these words.so he decided to help them first.
''o lord rama i must tell one story about vali's great strength...'' '' once a great buffalo-asura, named dundubi, who had the strength of a thousand elephants, challenged anyone who dared, for a figh.he found no worthy opponent but vali. dundubi went to kishkinda and stood before vali's palace.'' ''vali came rushing out of the palace.
he caught hold of the buffalo-asura's tail and whirled him in the air. at lost vali pounded dundubi to death and flying the death carcass of the buffalo-asura to a far-away place.''the blood of asura fell on sage matanga 's ashram in rishyamooka, polluting it. so the sage curse him saying that he would die at once if he ever dared to set foot in the risyamooka region.''
rama smiled gently and with a kick of his toe, he sent the huge skeleton of dundubi which was lying nearby, flying in to the air to a great distance.however, sugriva was not satisfied. then rama took up his mighty bow and walked to nearby line of trees. with a single arrow, he pierced seven of them. the arrow emerged only to pierce the ground on the other side deeply. now sugriva was fully convinced of rama's strength.
